| Very early promo CDR edition with printed disc and insert in PVC sleeve. This version of the album was issued before the album was titled Plastic Fang and prior to all the songs having their final names.
The alternate titles on this album are for the tracks commercially released as Tore Up & Broke (Dock), Down In The Beast (Whale) and The Midnight Creep (Rock Steady). The in-house promo L.A. Mixes August + October also featured these three tracks with these titles along with Shakin’ Rock ‘n’ Roll Tonight which appeared as Shaken. Mute also issued a promo edition with finished artwork. This album features guest appearances by Dr. John, Elliott Smith, Bernie Worrell and Willie Weeks. There are many different editions of this album with alternate track listings and running orders.
